Meet John-Paul Mackie, affectionately known as JP, a dedicated practitioner at Here2Hear Audiology. JP embarked on his journey in the hearing field at the remarkable age of 19. By the time he turned 23, he had earned the distinction of becoming a licensed hearing instrument specialist, making him one of the youngest in Texas to achieve this milestone. In the early stages of his career, JP honed his expertise at various locations in southern Texas, contributing his skills to communities in Laredo, El Paso, and McAllen, Texas. His passion for improving lives through better hearing led him to collaborate with his father, an esteemed ENT specialist, for over a decade. Together, they served the community diligently until his father’s recent retirement in Edinburg, Texas.
Now, JP continues his unwavering commitment to the field of audiology at Here 2 Hear Audiology, the same location where he once practiced alongside his father. His wealth of experience and compassionate approach make him an asset to our clinic. JP is not just a practitioner; he is a partner in our mission to provide top-notch hearing care and contribute to the betterment of lives. Outside of work JP is an avid baseball player and a deep-sea fishing enthusiast.
